Widely regarded as a leading expert for family-run businesses, the founder of INTES served as Wild Group Chair of Family Business at IMD in Lausanne and teaches as an honorary professor at WHU in Vallendar, Germany. Peter May advises leading owner families, publishes and speaks regularly and has launched a variety of important initiatives for family-run businesses (among them the "Governance Code for Family Businesses" and the "Family Business of the Year").

As Managing Director, she was in charge of her parent's family business for several years before dedicating herself to consulting owners and owner families. Nina Heinemann specializes in monitoring succession processes, designing family business governance and developing family constitutions.
